A Place in this World -- Taylor Swift

I have chosen this song as it is not very well known but has a pop genre that I feel would work best for our group.

I thought we could create a narrative video for this song and as it is all about change in the world we could include a few on the different genres and possible create a story starting in the 1950's and ending in a futuristic set. This would fit the pop genre as it would mean a lot of costume changes. We could use just one person in the video or a few people but my idea would to only have one person on screen at any given time as it is all about being alone. I think that it would be interesting to shoot the video in London as there would be a variety of different sets to choose from and so the background could be changing too. At the simplist level we could just video people walking around the streets of London with some costume changes with a few other reference to the lyrics, for example, tomorrow being a mystery could be staring at a blank date in a diary and we could shoot in the rain for walking in the rain.

Another idea I had would be for the camera to be panning and as it goes off of one person it finds another, all of which are on their own to link to the lyrics. This would have more performance in it but I feel we would have to think of some more ways to fit it into the pop genre as the typical characteristics are not really portrayed through this idea.
